Each holiday season, members of the Tamworth Outing Club harvest a locally donated tree and set it up – complete with lights – on the Veterans’ Triangle at the entrance to Tamworth Village. On the first Sunday in December, community members gather in the parking lot of the adjacent Unitarian Church for the ceremonial tree lighting at 5 PM. Carols, a fire pit, and holiday goodies provide for a wonderful and festive evening.
