Halloween in the Village

Tricks and Treats in Tamworth Village

TAMWORTH HALLOWEEN FUN

Each October, the Tamworth Outing Club (TOC) hosts Halloween celebrations in Tamworth Village, offering free activities for all ages. The festivities begin with a community pumpkin carving event on the lawn of the Tamworth History Center, featuring pumpkins donated by local farms and businesses. Accompanied by live music, participants transform pumpkins into creative jack-o-lanterns, which are later displayed along Main Street.

On Halloween night, these jack-o-lanterns are lit at dusk, illuminating the path for trick-or-treaters visiting welcoming homes and businesses. The evening also features the spine-chilling “Olde MacDonald’s Terror Barn” for thrill-seekers. At the end of the night, all pumpkins and their remnants are collected and donated to local farmers for livestock feed, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
